Just checked my wife's pending RoC case and saw the following:

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

Does this mean we will possibly get combo interview for her RoC/N-400, or what has been some of the experiences?

Sounds like a good possibility! I'm pretty sure you should be getting a letter that will say where it has been transferred to, which will be a better indication.

Mine is showing 16 months so it must be different depending on area, I’m in MS. I read on another thread that as it gets closer to the time each month it comes down an extra month, so to take the time frame with a pinch of salt. Hopefully that’s the case for me, be nice to get this over with in <1 year! Otherwise I’ll be waiting until January 2024!

Is the 10 months estimate for specific area or for everyone? Mine is showing 10 months too. NYC.

Mine shows 10 months as well. I’m in Raleigh NC. My lawyer said my office is moving rather fast N400s. My friend who lives in Tampa process took 4 months. Never know though. I’d take 6 months, even before the year is out if possible 😅

I think it does say 10 months for everyone - mine said 16 months at first and then 10 months after they issues the biometrics reuse notice.

I'll be shocked if the Minneapolis field office processes cases that quickly - on the egov site it suggests a wait time of ~17 months which seems much more realistic. Fingers crossed though!

Right then... we're about to submit this application. online.. and it seems extremely straightforward, having to only need to submit photos of the permanent resident card and marriage certificate. It seems that everything else should be brought to the interview. Am I missing something? Why is everyone else uploading taxes, proof of ongoing marriage, etc.

Been a bit out of the visa world for a while...

Tks,

KM

...Disregard my last post (apologies, can't figure out how to delete). I see how straightforward it was to submit all the "evidence" and since we have it together anyway, we submitted tonight. Yay!

Hello hello everyone, I’m following this thread as a September filer, literally just filed under the 3 year rule with a pending i751. My application window opened in late June but i decided that is was better to file at the exact 3 year mark because is best to be safe. I’m in NYC so I’ll keep y’all updated, hopefully this gets that i751 running and very soon finally say goodbye to uscis forever!!!good lick every one

We started the online form and hit a snag. The question is "Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years?"   My husband has not taken a trip, but he lived outside the United States until he came here in 2019.  Should he answer "yes" and include the amount of days in the past five years he wasn't here? It wasn't a trip, so we're confused!

I believe is only international travel since becoming a lpr because the time spent in the US after becoming a lpr is what counts towards citizenship requirement.

They do mean only international travel. The question is "Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years. I was able to find out that if you're filing on the three year rule, you only consider what you've done in those three years. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question!

We're just finishing up and reviewing my husbands citizenship application - and plan to submit it today! Finally! We just wondered if he answered this question correctly. I'm retired, and the question is about his spouse's employment. He put "Retired" in the box, but there is a check box that says "unemployed". Should he check that, instead, or leave my work status as "retired"?

I would go with retired.

Good luck finishing up your application today.  Hope you guys get a combo interview.

Thank you! Retired does sound like the best answer to me. We're hoping for a combo interview, too!

We did it!  My husband's N-400 has been submitted and (most importantly) paid for!
