Hi,

What does estimated time until case decision means?

It means exactly what it says.  However, it is extremely unreliable for some local offices.....especially Dallas.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

That I agree with. It’s just an estimate but your case could be done before or after the estimate. My estimation has 26 days left but local office has an estimate of 11 months which wouldn’t be until August so

Still waiting for our Oath Ceremony to be scheduled.  Had the update back in February that it was ready to be scheduled....

Did you have any pending I-751? 3-year rule? Name change? Any traffic citations? Thanks.

I don't know I could be wrong but going by the trends it seems we can get some good news by 2nd week of this months.

What's your take on this?

No clue tbh. Only could wait at this point but hope it’s sooner than later. My N400 online application has estimation of 9 days left before decision made and my service center has a 11 month processing time. If it is the 2nd week of this month, it would be nice
