How about auto or life insurance? Did you upload in “marriage” section and “additional” section?

I uploaded every relationship eveidence such as insurances , house deed , bills and joint bank account in marriage section and didn't upload anything un the additional section. At the end, I suppose they would just combine them together anyway. I could be wrong.

This is really good to know. Thank you!

Just letting you guys know, my mistake was I started the application 2 months ago when my window opened but didn't have time to finish it. The unfinished application is expired after 1 month so I had to start it all over. 😢

If anyone wanted to start it, you have to file it with in 1 month.

We did the same.  We put all relationship-based evidences (bank/credit card/insurance statements) under the additional section.  I agree with @HatoKo, I do not think it matters as they will all get combined at the end.

I have just filed the form under 3-year rule, but not yet submitted it.

Under evidence files, there are “3 year tax return” and “evidence of marriage” which asked tax return of last 3 years.

Did you re-upload the files in those 2 sections, or just upload in 1 section?

It is really confused about that.

I uploaded 3 years tax under one section only.

I read on VJ that as long as you make some changes within 1 month, the file stays active.  But if you do not make ANY changes, then it will disappear after 1 month.

So you uploaded 3 year tax in “tax” section, all relationship-based files uploaded 2 times: “marriage” section and “additional” section?

I uploaded evidence of work in “additional” section.

No. We uploaded everything just once. 3 year tax was uploaded in tax section. Other relationship-based documents (bank/utilities/insurance) were uploaded under “additional”. I am not sure it matters that much. The entire file will be reviewed by one IO and they can see all the attachments uploaded as they wish.

There is section “marriage” before “additional”. What files you uploaded for section “marriage” (right after section “change name”)

We do not remember. My wife thinks we uploaded marriage certificate along with taxes and then everything else under additional. Again, we were not concerned about what to upload on each section as long as we uploaded everything.

Thanks so much for your responses. It made me less worried of uploading files.

Filing form took just 30 mins, but choosing files should be uploaded in each Section took more time than that.

Just submitted my form today. The receipt and bio reused letter were in the Document tab after 2-3 hours of submitting. The estimated time is 9 months.

Goodluck, you can’t imagine how long I have been waiting for a decision to be made. I am still calm and waiting.
