Hi guys, have you ever had this issue while trying to download the interview notice? I’m getting a little nervous and anxious.

Sorry you are having difficulty with this.  I know you will get a hard copy in the mail.  I have seen a few people had same issue...they called 800 number to find out their interview date, while waiting for snail mail copy to arrive.

You are trying on a sunday when most systems go under maintenance. Try again on a weekday...

I’ve been trying all week. I wouldn’t be posting or asking if it wasn’t an issue by the time I posted.

Thanks so much! Hopefully that’s my case too

My I-751 case today had a update, showed case transferred to another office. I guess they have to transfer it for the final N-400 approval, it’s just a matter of time…

Yes my friend, almost there, my i751 was transferred to “another jurisdiction” on 10/12-13 and on 10/29 my interview was scheduled for December 12 so you’ll be there soon!! Remember to always check the documents online cause the notices will be there first 🎉

Hi,

I am in need of your help/knowledge.

I filed my N-400 in August 2022. For some reason (lucky enough), received an interview notice in 2 weeks (September) for early October interview.

Interview went great and all passed, but I did a name change request.

IO told me I will receive a notification from local court as the oath ceremony would take place in local court for people who would change name.

And IO also said I'd need to contact USCIS if I do not hear back within 3 months and here I am not hearing back from the local court.

Tried calling USCIS where the auto-answering machine only provides the basic info and hangs up when asked to talk to an agent...

Can you share where I can actually contact and ask about the progress?

I feel like it's in between two parties where either takes any responsibility...

Take your wife with you , will be combo interview definitely, they will not let her in so you have to tell them that I-751 is pending then she will be allowed inside.

So, my interview was this morning at the Brooklyn office. My wife came with me, they allowed her into the building but kept her in the waiting room as the officer didn’t want to speak with her.

I did the N-400 interview alone, passed all tests answered a few very basic questions about my name, DOB, job, travel history. I was then told that as the I-751 was being waived I couldn’t be formally approved on the spot and that they needed to do some work in my case behind the scenes to close it all out. They said I shouldn’t worry as I should expect to hear from USCUS in a few days to be scheduled for an oath ceremony.

I spent ages assembling all our documents and the officer didn’t ask to see anything at all other than my Green Card. It actually took longer to get into the building that it did to be interviewed! Feels very strange to think that this process is very nearly over.

Hi all,

I had my N400 interview yesterday based on marriage. My interview notice specifically said only I was to come to the interview, not my spouse. My attorney accompanied me. The IO asked how I obtained my green card. He asked some basic questions about my work and home life, small talk really. He asked about two trips I had taken outside of the country, again small talk. He then asked me 6/10 questions and the English test. After that he said I was approved and asked if I was available to come back this Friday for the oath ceremony. It was all so fast and I'm still a little dazed that this part of my journey has come to an end. Good luck to everyone!
