Just returned this past weekend from our Nashville field office interview on Thursday.  I forgot which civics test questions the IO asked my wife, but she was successful in getting 6 right.  After the reading/writing portion of the test, he hammered quite hard on some of her time in Switzerland (and the overstay that occurred...), how we met, if I was a US Citizen, did I file my taxes, and finally discussed her name change request.  I did not go inside since I had our 2 daughters with us.

He approved her at the end, but told us we'd potentially have to go to Chattanooga for our oath ceremony (Yeah....weird when there is a federal courthouse in East TN that does it that is closer....), but checked statuses online:

Her I-751 was approved and card is being printed

Her N-400 was approved and is currently awaiting Oath Ceremony scheduling.

Just finished my interview. Brought my husband w/ me. The officer said she didn't have my A-file, but she did a combo interview and asked for joint pictures, etc... which I had with me. She asked us how we met, where we live, etc...

Then she did my N400 interview. Passed the civics and reading/writing questions. Went through the yes/no section and had to addend the part where I said I wasn't cited to add two traffic citations. She was very thorough, the interview took over an hour.

At the end, got the paper with the "you passed but a decision cannot be made" and she said she has to wait for my A-file. So now more waiting.

Congratulations on passing the test, was it a combo interview? Did you request a foia?
The reason I am asking is I just did a Foia request for my file.

No I didn't request a FOIA. It was a combo interview for the first part, as I mentioned in my post.

My oath ceremony is scheduled for February 22 at 10 am. Unfortunately I am traveling for work that week so will have to reschedule. 🙃

Worked something out with my employer. I'm interrupting my work trip to return home for my oath ceremony and will then return to the work trip after.

Remember that after you take your oath, you'll need a US passport to travel.

I hope so too. I haven't been lurking on these forums long enough to see if others have been in the same boat.
