I received my first NOA on April 6, 2007. I have been waiting ever since. Man this process sucks!! Anyway, I am leaving for Vietnam on July 20! Friday i will be there with my beloved until she goes to interview! I am hoping we will be home in the states by Christmas! Anyone think this is too far fetched? I think everything moves quite a bit faster once the NVC receives everything? Ideas appreciated!!!

Estimates/Stats : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as August 7, 2007*.

If this date has passed by more than 10 days or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

No one knows for sure the time it takes to process.

Alls I can say if your planning to be abroad for so long you better have your act together for receiving and replying to anything USCIS sends you.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

They say 65 days in my days. Not sure what is the standard these days. April 6 when they got your petition, it's now July 19th. You're way past the 65 days. You need to call them up and find out where your petition stands.

Also, you're leaving for VN tomorrow until Christmas? or until her interview? Do you know when? Do you know if they won't RFE your petion? You have someone to gather and supply all your requested evidence while you're gone in VN? My head is spinning with all the questions and very little answers...

Either way, good luck and hope you have all your ducks in line....

Like Chuck & Kim said, be sure to have someone watching your mail and alerting you immediately when anything shows. Give a call and find out what's going on. Have a set of original / certified copies of everything with someone in the States as well as with you in VN so you can address any issue that comes up.

There can be so many things that could pop up just be very very prepared if you will be away from all of your source documents for a long period of time.

Best of luck to you. :)
