Credibility of something

Hi everyone. I read about a faster way to get a response from NVC regarding the inquiries in a telegram group. Something like writing "Attention PI supervisor" in the subject of email would somehow magically return a response in a few days. I highly doubted it, so I searched the phrase and I came upon this link:
https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/AILA/Q&A%20AILA%20NVC%20November%202016.pdf

I took a screenshot of the relevant part. I wanted to know if this still works haha.

P.S. Upon reading the document more, I realized that the normal waiting time for inquiries has been 5 business days back then (the document goes back to 2016), and it's related to Tajikistan perhaps. Anyway don't blame me for being a gullible person, I just had to know. I apologize beforehand.

No, it doesn’t work.

They will respond with “please submit an inquiry through public inquiry form”.

Thank you. I know what extra things we do may create complications in the whole process for everyone else. Now I have no problems with waiting the usual time, because my dq will take longer anyway. The problem is someone is convinced this works and claims over 20 people have done this and their cases have been transferred within days (instead of the 60 days). I don't know how that is possible. I believe she has no reason for lying and I believe her. I just can't figure this out.

That email was for attorneys and was way faster than public inquiry,

but they would only respond to those that had a G-28 on record , even when it was live , now it bounces back the exactly as @powerpuff said.

I don’t know who the “ someone “ is to you, but call her bluff and send an email yourself .

Well I joined the group where most people had done it with success. That someone is the moderator of a group.

I had already sent an inquiry 12 days ago, so yeah I will send another inquiry myself with this format and see what happens.

Been there done that. I’m talking out of personal experience. But as @Family said go ahead and try it for yourself if you have doubts about our advice.

  • Representatives should now use the Ask NVC public inquiry form for case inquiries instead of the NVCAttorney@state.gov address. The public inquiry form provides an option to allow the inquirer to identify himself or herself as the attorney of record.
  • If there is no response to an inquiry after two attempts, the inquirer should type “Attn: PI Supervisor” in the question box to elevate the inquiry.

I don't doubt you guys at all. I was merely inquiring about it. Though, I did make an inquiry based on this format just to test for myself.

Yeah I gathered it should be done through an inquiry and sent it with this heading. "PI Supervisor, hello". I'll see what happens.

Thanks a lot to both of you for sharing your thoughts.

So as it happens, it was done.

I got an email a few minutes ago, and my inquiry about changing the embassy was done, and I got a new case number.

@Family @powerpuff

Was it a response from the Ask NVC inquiry you sent 12 days ago, or from the "new format"?

I'm sure it was the new format. Because the first one I sent would require 60 days to process. I sent it at 8:04 am, and 1 hour and 8 minutes later I got the new email.

Way back in 2014 my notice from NVC to do the AOS and DS260 came from NVCattorney@state.gov

just looked thru all my emails to find that

but the notice said if i had any inquiries to send them to NVCinquiry@state.gov

now they say

https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry

 and responses will come from

TSGSystem@tsg.state.gov. Please do not send inquiries directly to that email ID

Both were done via the inquiry form. I didn't send any emails.

The response came from the email @JeanneAdil has mentioned (TSGSystem...)
