Hi guys, its me again..

i was following the k1 visa journey timeline and read all of the requirement, i tried to search this subject and did not found it.

i know the USCIS doesnt mentioned about the requirement of "relationship under 2 years before applied k1 visa",

i want to prepare the whole complete documents without RFE

Me and my fiance already know each other for 3 months and officially for 3 months, we would like to getting marry once i already in united states. we already meet 1 time and spending time on the trip for 1.5 months before and decide for getting marry later. we have all of the evidence for photo, stamp passport, hotel receipt during our trip.

As you can see our relationship still under 1 year..

my question is,

1. is it enough without  make statement of witness? if so, does anyone get the noa2?

2.  also watched on youtube need to proof of genuine of relationship. is it necessary ?

my fiance so busy for work and still did not make a wedding plan, my fiance said we will make a plan once my arrival in united states.

thank you and appreciate your comment below

The other thing to consider is that you will have time to grow your relationship while the I129F is being processed.  Most of the questions of a bonafide relationship will come at the consulate stage, so you will be able to include more relationship evidence, possibly more visits, etc., and your relationship will be more than a year old by that time.

Good Luck!

Indonesia is not a high fraud country and photos together, passport stamps, airline/ hotel receipts are adequate proof of meeting in person.

Advised to follow the VJ guides/examples and you will be fine.

Dash is right - another visit while your petition is processing is always a good idea, plenty of things to do and see over there!

Congrats to both of you

Your fine, They are tons of people who go to Philippines for one visit only and spend a few weeks there, and they are approved for interviews, I would think Philippines has to be in the top 3 of doing K1's

Good Luck.

There is no requirement about length of relationship.

However, for high fraud/high risk consulates, length of relationship and amount of time spent in person (as well as whether the two got engaged on first visit, etc) could be taken into consideration when evaluating for fraud.

Passport stamps are best evidence of having met in person.  Witness statements are useless.

hi mate,

what do you mean evaluating for fraud? for the example ?

Hi Guys,

i would like to ask for the proof of on-going relationship, me and my fiance just communicate by whatsapp chat and everyday for the last 6 months.

for this evidence should we capture the whole conversation from the start to end?? or you guys just capture the necessary chat like per week?

thanks, appreciate your comment :)

What I had with me and my husband was pictures of us meeting each other more than once, our best chats together, gifts we mailed each other , pictures of the engagement ring he gave me, etc.

imo to have a solid case is to have more than just the chats.

No such proof is needed at the I-129F application stage.  Proof of in-person meeting is required.  A few photos of time spent together wouldn't hurt.
