So on Sept 9 me and wife will be entering Miami airport.i know there's a regular usc line and someone said there's immigration line? Me and her will have to go separate lines or how does that work? She is cr1 with 2 year marriage anniversary on Sept 3.reason I ask is because I want to explain to the officer about the 10 year GC with marriage certificate plus I don't want her panicking lol.

You go through the line together but she goes alone to secondary inspection to get processed in.  They’ll call someone to bring her back there.

That will be the time when she should point out marriage date and remind the officer that a 10-yr card is warranted.

We went through yesterday (FLL)....I recommend to ask which line. In our case, I asked and was told to go to the visitor line because "it was moving quicker anyway" (which it was).

Yup, this happened to us and we were totally not expecting it. The very nice initial CBP officer saw all of our luggage and recommended my daughter and I go outside and wait for my wife there because "with all those bags it will take a long time"  (we had a ton of luggage). Anyway, once she was in there, they just verified address and that was it.

I have only traveled check ins n carry on going into Dominican republic and check ins luggages are automatically at the airport in dominican republic.someone mentioned that I pickup the check in luggages in Miami airport.so I pickup check in luggage before getting into  the line?

Good point. I almost always go through FLL and avoid Miami like the plague (so I'm not sure about Miami). Recently though FLL changed; now - and this is crazy to me - you collect all of your luggage BEFORE going through immigration.

Interesting. CBPOs at FLL must be quite confident in their marksmanship if they are willing to risk their lives that way.
