Divorce date omitted any implications?

I mistakenly omitted divorce date when filing K1 but I included divorce decree any implication?

Hi,

I mistakenly omitted divorce date on K1 petition but I included my divorce decree in my petition, any implication ? My case is at the interview stage at the embassy already pls advise

Always the risk some silly adjudicator will RFE for blank field. So do “ a Supplemental Filing to I-129 F case xx for correction of unintentional typo/error  to page x, part y, item z as follows: Date of Divorce. Kindly note a copy of divorce judgment was included in original filing “…..it should make it to the file by the time they review it…send it w copy of NOA 1 to filing address

Then All is Well and no implications. Make sure she carries the original certified divorce and other requirements.

Thanks, we started the process since March 2021, we got approved in June 2022 case was sent to the embassy July 2022.

The beneficiary country is Nigeria.

Your Process seems very fast compared to lots of people going through the same Embassy. Did you expedite? and if yes, what were your reasons?(Medical or otherwise).

 

I know someone who was in your shoes and everything went Ok. Ensure the beneficiary has  the Original Divorce documents at the interview. I believe the CO makes the necessary corrections on the forms if need be

We did K1 not CR1, I think K1 is faster and no I did not expedite.

Is it okay if the beneficiary go with scanned copies of the divorce decree or I will have to send the documents through courier?

She needs originals for the interview, no scanned copies.

Don’t blow your good fortune of speedy processing by missing something at interview! Check she has everything..else cause @AfroKing also pointed out originals needed and you missed it.
