Administrative Processing ?!?

5 Aug - At our embassy interview we failed to turn in some documents (missing).  We got a 221g (requested we send the missing documents) and we responded (sent everything asked for) that day.  CEAC shows “Refused” after the interview.

8 Aug - CEAC shows an update for 8 Aug and “Ready” as the status.

19 Aug - passport status on cgifederal.secure.force.com said passport is with the US Consulate CHANGED to “Document Delivery Information”.  ustraveldocs passport locator says it’s with the consulate.  Email says no information on passport (did say with the consulate) and finally phone says “delivered to post.”

23 Aug - CEAC shows an update to our case.  Wife receives a phone call from the embassy at around 1400 requesting our address in the US to send her green card (I failed to add it because I was in the process of buying).  Says the visa is approved, waiting final approval (wife said his Capt needed to approve it - I’m translating) visa should be sent out tomorrow.

24 Aug - no notice from the embassy, CEAC date updates, status changes from “Ready” to “Administrative Processing” at around 1300 (Korea Time).

Is it safe  to assume this administrative processing is the good one, the visa is getting added to the passport and “Issued” is soon to follow?

the stress is killing me!  Omg!

Yes, based on your series of events, and as long as you submitted all missing documents, it sounds like status will change to “issued”.  I’d guess that since they mentioned the green card and verbally approved the visa, it’ll get issued and passport mailed out soon.
