Approved petition for mother with visa number available.

We received notification that my mother was approved for my petition and visa number is available. It is expiring and we should proceed with payments and send updated documents. And if not interested to still contact them to let them no that we dont want to pursue. We are interested and notified them and paid the fees. Do any of you experience having a minor sibling to include her with the visa processing based on mothers approved petition. I heard from friends that they knew some people who brought their minor kids over based on the petitioned relationship to the minor child.

Dude, no one can help you unless you adequately explain the visa categories of all involved parties, timelines with specific dates, relationships, details etc.

I am sorry it is my first time here today and didn't know how it works. It is IR5 and is approved. Just recently paid the fees and is preparing for the documents of my mother to be submitted.

Sibling cannot be included with mom’s petition. It takes a very long time to get a sibling over. 
 

Minor children can be included if a petitioner applies for their fiancée or spouse and the fiancée or spouse has children.

F4 is the only visa category for siblings regardless of age.  IR5 (and any other Immediate Relative visa category) does not allow for derivative beneficiaries.

 

Your mother will have to petition for your sibling after she enters the US with her IR5 visa and becomes a permanent resident.  Visa category will be F2A minor child of LPR.

IR5 always has a visa number available, siblings F4 do not and there is a long wait.
