Unfortunatley patience is a virtue now, ours took 12 weeks practically to the day and that is what we were told. They do not seem to update for ages sometimes and then all of a sudden, they go crazy. It is hard, we know that as do many others but you will get notice in the end and then you can hopefully look forward to your new life here.

Good luck

Hang in there people.

London does slow down about this time of year. We filed our waiver In April of last year and it took us over 20 weeks to get an approval. It comes in sperts and sputters and it's soooooooooo nerve wrecking.

Hi I see that you say yor wife is in the US and but your profile says that you have filed for a k-1? Is that a typo? Why have you waited for 3 years? Was there a problem with your application? Can you please fill out your time line because I would like to compare your case to mine. I want to know if we coincide some where. You see my husband is also from the UK and we have been waiting to get an approval NOA2 from USCIS for over a year If you dont mind how is it that you had a 3 year wait? Where did you get stuck along the way?

I'm pending. Everyone has been telling me the timeline is 12-14 weeks but I don't know whether this is from when the paperwork is submitted to the Embassy or from when the DHS LOndon office "officially" receives my application. I am hoping to hear some news in early September.

I have been pending since May the 11th,some 11 weeks ago,the timeline starts from the day that london recieve your application,or from the date on your postcard they send you,.. I handed over my application in the embassy on 21st February, but I understand that it had gone over to the immigrant visa unit in the US before landing on USCIS`s desk in London as they have been checking my wife out in the US,I understand the frustration for everyone, but at the end of the day we have to live with the frustration of never knowing when it will be completed...good luck to everyone in pendingsville, hope everything works out. Maybe next week

You guys are lucky. At least you get to know of a time line. When I call Vermont to check on the status of my waiver, I am told that there is no priority date. MEANING it can take any where from a few weeks to a few months to get an info on the waiver. I have no idea where they are at in the process. It really sucks cause I can't even make any plans. There's no date to look forward too. I've been waiting since last year but got and RFE in March. I wuish they'd hurry it up.

Married August 21 2004 in Nova Scotia!

October 19/04 sent I-130.

April 17/08 finally arrive back in New Orleans after 3 years and 8 months.

May 19/08 Perm Resident Card arrives.

July 24/08 Reapply for a new SS card with married name.

August 4/08 Baby daughter born.
