Hi,

I am trying to get ready for the adjustment of status phase and i am stuck. All the form seems to ask for an "A" number. I assume this refers to the alien number? When or where can i find this number?

My fiance got her k1 visa and is in the US right now. Please help

It might be on her K-1 visa (sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't - it is on mine), and it should also be on the NOA2 for the I-129F (above the beneficiary's name)... it'll be easy to spot, because it has an 'A' at the start of it! :)

And I moved this question to the AOS forum - if you ask AOS-related questions in here, they're more likely to be read by people who know the answers! You might find some of the threads already posted in here helpful, too.

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

The A number is on her K-1 visa in her passport and yes, it's her Alien number.

It also may already be on her interview letter. A#.......... that what is should be.

2 places to look, POE officer may have written it on the back of the I-94 card, and on I-129F NOA2 letter that you will be copying and sending in with the AOS.
