Hi 

i have submitted for non immigrant visa on march the 7, 2022 Nd my visa was approved but after some hours they sent me an email of ds 5355 

i fill it out nd sent it back . Now im waiting for updates since more than 5 months, im wondering maybe they didn’t recieve my ds 5355 filled out although i sent it too many times 

Will it take more than thit time ?

at the top of the home page there is a lite blue box that says search

write in ds 5535 and read any of the many posts on this issue

 

your wait can be long -months or over a year

 

visa is never really approved till the embassy completes all security checks

and at this point there is no way to speed the process

 

it would help the VJ community here to answer your questions if u did a timeline on your profile page and ID your country as Tunisia

USCIS advises until visa is issued:

do not buy airline tickets

do not sell property

do not quit a job

 

most of us here go thru long process for visa approval

its hard and you need a lot of patience
