So that means that even though it’s processed through my bank already and posted to my account already , it still will take a few days to show up in NVC?

I’d think so!

Hello everyone. I paid my fees on Monday and they just posted to my bank account this morning. But on my account in NVC it still says IN PROCESS. Does it still take a day or two for that to change to PAID?

The morning my fees posted to my bank it still said IN PROCESS. The following day in the afternoon it changed to PAID.

Most important thing is to have your I-864 AOS (HAND WRITE your signature and the date) , taxes and W-2’s (last 3 years) and husbands documents from DR ready to submit with official English translations. Have him keep the originals and submit scanned copies. Make sure when you scan documents they are all straight and not sideways and they are not cut off or blurry. ( all those reasons will cause NVC to send you RFE

I also sent in my drivers license, bank statements, a utility bill, my property tax payment. I thought it couldn’t hurt to give them more than they asked.

He won’t need official translations since it’s in the official language of his country. Only if it’s not in English or his official language. But I have everything ready. Just getting anxious because it is not saying PAID yet

Also I scanned my husbands and my passport so that it’s horizontal so you can ready it. Is that correct?

You might want to read through this post:

Translations ARE NOT required if in the language of the country from which you are applying or if they are in English. It clearly states that. I also have talked to tons of people petitioning from the same country as me who say they did not translate documents.

Okay. Must be different for your country because Korea requires translated documents EVEN IF you interview in Korea.

You can see the instructions for KOREA in this pdf...

it is good you have confirmation from people interviewing out of the same country.

Yea I’m thankful for that because it REALLY helps in preparing for each step you know. I’m trying not to stress about when my aacount will say PAID. I’m just ready to start the visa application and upload my documents so I can get in Que to be processed at NVC. It makes me anxious a little bit waiting for it to say PAID because it has already posted and cleared with my bank but still says IN PROCESS right now on my account 🥴

From what I’ve read yes. That’s correct. It’s how I did it for my wife.
