Hello everyone. I paid my fees on Monday and they just posted to my bank account this morning. But on my account in NVC it still says IN PROCESS. Does it still take a day or two for that to change to PAID?

We paid them last Tuesday, and after 8 days, it's still IN PROCESS. I suppose the schedule is busy because I've seen a few others with the same situation. I thought this is an automatic process, but I guess somebody has to approve the payment.

NVC states you should wait 2-3 days after you make the payment.

But, it can take longer.

I would be patient and work on the documentation you need to submit so as soon as it does switch to paid you can upload everything at once.

For us, it took about a week before it switched to PAID.

They don't take credit cards. You need to pay the fees with a US bank account.

I did my fees Monday evening and my bank account said the transaction was yesterday and processed yesterday so I’m sure within a few days it will show PAID

yes

You may pay your filing fee and biometric services fee, if applicable, with a credit card issued by a U.S. bank, if you are filing:

  • An application, petition, or request with a USCIS lockbox; or
  • An application, petition, or request with the USCIS service center

We are talking about NVC not USCIS

Step 3: Pay Fees

The first thing you need to do after receiving your NVC Welcome Letter is pay your processing fees. There are two processing fees:

  1. Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee
  2. Affidavit of Support Fee.

You will need a bank routing number and a checking or savings account number from a U.S. based bank.

To pay your fee, log into your case in CEAC and click the ‘PAY NOW’ button under Affidavit of Support Fee or IV Fee on your summary page.

After submitting your payments online, please allow up to 1 week for NVC to process your fees before continuing to the next step. You will not be able to access Form DS-260 until NVC has processed your payments.

So that means that even though it’s processed through my bank already and posted to my account already , it still will take a few days to show up in NVC?
