Does my husband have do his fingerprints and oath ceremony for a Ir1 visa  husband had his interview on August 1 of this year and he was missing some documents proof of are relationship for the pass 5 years. So we had to send more evidence of are relationship and they received it and a day later we got a email from the ghana embassy saying that he had to attend a fingerprint and oath ceremony. Please help!!!! And on the website it says his visa has been refused.

There are plenty of posts here on VJ which suggest that some consulates do sometimes ask applicants to return for more fingerprints and a re-oath.  Some of these were 2nd interviews. I would certainly report as instructed.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

yes  please do a timeline

and if ,  like Morocco ,  the fingerprints were not captured good the day of his interview ,  he will need to redo them and the oath is part of attesting he is the person on the petition
