30 minutes. I told the IO to skip the English  test since I was seen at 5pm (4 hours after I was scheduled) and we both wanted to go home.

Passed the interview 2 weeks ago, how long does it normally take for the oath ceremony. IO said 2-4 weeks expect a letter but had no idea how far out the date would be.

Too soon to panic.

no panic, just want as much heads up as possible, will prob need to take the day off work.

There's no way to predict the specific day off that you will need.

You might get 4 weeks notice or more, or you might get less.

If the boss says no when you know, then you will have a tough choice. It would be an easy choice for me: tell the boss I'm going to take oath anyway, and he fires me, he fires me.

+100 If the boss does not approve time off due to oath ceremony, that's just wrong. The OP should get a better job in that case. Another option is to call in sick (I'm not encouraging this). The best thing is obviously just to tell the boss you have to do what you have to do.

Good luck @kaibosh!

Thanks for the info, it has now been 35 business days since my interview, website and the lady at the interview said I should hear something about the oath within 30 days. Any reason to be worried yet?

Can't tell why you may have issues slowing your case, you don't have your timeline updated. How did your removal of conditions go? No chance you separated from your spouse before your i751 approval? Are you still with your spouse? Is Canada your original home county or did you immigrate to Canada?  Did you have any legal issue arrests or convictions? Did you travel outside of the USA a lot? Sometime records get stuck in storage delaying processing.

Every case is different, you would know best what may be slowing your case down.

Still with my wife, no arrests, born and raised in Canada.

Interview went great, was told 3-4 I should have an oath date.

Is there anyway to follow up?

USCIS has 120 days to decide your case, so it is too early to do anything yet.

Not sure why your case is delayed, perhaps a staffing issue with USCIS.

You could make a case inquiry, but I doubt USCIS will do much until 120 days have passed.

Good luck.
