I an researching into the next steps for my husband's visa, and know we will have to file for the I-751 eventually. Other stories have people waiting literal years for theirs to get approved. Is there a military expedition possible for this? The timing of the I-751 would be right around when I'd be PCS'ing to my next location.

No. And unless you PCS OCONUS with him accompanying you in which case he could jump straight to file for citizenship there's nothing that would warrant even an expedite.

He files, you move, he and you do the address change. Or you move and he files after whatever fits the situation timewise.

Edit: you are the military member right? Not your husband. Cause the title sounds like he would be AD

He will receive a 2 year extension letter when he submits the I-751 package.

Yes, I'm the military AD member. And that's on fortunate to hear.  Since we're so far out still, we don't know where we'll end up yet, though from my job and preference, it's likely to be overseas.

Thanks.

If you do get assigned outside the US, it's possible for your husband to skip I-751 altogether and apply immediately for citizenship after becoming an LPR.  Read up on INA 319(b).

That might be interesting for him then. Just keep in mind that if his window for Removal of Conditions opens before you get orders he still has to apply for that. He can only jump it if orders come in before.

Everyone hit the nail on the head. However, I suggest you ask you contact your Senator. Explain the situation succintly in one small paragraph and the damage/hardship it can pose (especially if you have kids). Right now, being stationedf in Europe ain't no joke (I know bc I was there for 3 years). NATO training missions are kicking up and it's a stressful on family. Very few Americans are aware of how many Marines are being deployed in Norway to establish presence in northern Europe. Not trying to stress you, the chances of you spouse being gone are high as NATO, however, the danger is low.

Your Senator will nudge USCIS to work on your paperwork. They did to ours. I was about to deploy as a government civillian overseas and USCIS moved their ###*s.

Wish you the best.

You might want to read the post again. It's OP who's military not her husband and they're not at the point yet to do anything. OP is only asking how to manage a ROC and a PCS when time comes.

Besides many deployed to Norway this time around cause other detachments had to get canceled due the Ukraine conflict. So these people were sent to Norway to support. It was not a planned situation to stock up on people.

I am the military member, not my spouse. My personal chances of going on NATO missions are extremely low, due to both my job and my branch of service.

Thanks for the thought though.
