Hello guys.

My girlfriend is USA citizen. She will come to me soon and we are indecisive about visa process.

I saw estimated processing time 10,5 monts for I-130 and 13,5 months for K-1. I was consider about apply K-1 but some friends told me CR-1 is better now.

What do you think about this? Which visa type is better? Thanks.

In my opinion the CR1 is better because the benefits are better. As soon as your spouse gets here they can work and drive if they apply for the CR1. And it’s taking the same amount as a K1 right now. With the K1 they will have to wait like 10 months after they arrive to even be able to work

CR1 is always better, don’t just look at timelines but also at the pros and cons that come with both options.

The K1 requires a (lengthy) adjustment of status process, and the foreign spouse cannot work or leave the US for many months during that process.

With the CR1, the foreign spouse is free to work and travel immediately upon arriving on the approved visa.

For the immigrant, it is important to be able to integrate in the US, and being able to work will help with that.

Your estimates are wrong.  It will take 18-24 months for either K-1 or CR-1.  When is the LAST time you were both actually face to face (in-person)?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Depends on the country you will interview in...

But 10.5/ 13/5 months is just the first step... you have a few more steps after the approval...

@Jonas49, marrying on the first visit will be another huge red flag for your case.  You already have several negative factors.  I expect the consulate officer to grill you about your relationship when you are eventually interviewed.  Your US fiance really, really needs to join us here.  We have valuable information to share with her.

No. He/she knows nothing. My friend 30 and his fiancee 50 he said to me they never asked anything about our ages. They just asked a couple of questions and i get my visa. He also said i know some people like us and they also got visa. He said we got totally in one year. This person asking irrelevant questions, sabotaging my contents. I appreciate for help and thank you i don't want from her/him no more. I requested to delete my account and waiting for response.
