Hi! Is anyone able to give me information or sponsoring someone to come and work at a company? Does it have to be a specific type of job or company you work for? The company is a day care, they have had ads up online since the end of covid. They have interviewed multiple people and each person given the job hasn’t appeared! Ans recently they just haven’t had any applications whatsoever. They are understaffed and willing to go the extra mile for staff… TIA

Not a simple task for do it yourself. It is done by lawyers or law firms because it is highly complex and very expensive.

Also, I believe the company would have to qualify for a labor certificate, so best to research that also.

@MrsH23, exactly what job within the daycare is this?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I would suggest the company offer a higher wage and try expanding their marketing range first.

This may be the better solution as opposed to spending a lot of time, money, and resources on a foreign worker.

Really can't see that happening for a daycare job, sorry.

EB-3 other workers exists specifically to plug holes in menial labor. Like is it possible? Sure. But the reason why your local McDonald's puts a sign saying that nobody wants to work anymore instead of importing some cheap labor is threefold: first is the cost of sponsorship (lawyer fees, ads in newspapers, filing fees), wait time before the immigrant enters US and can start working, the requirement to pay them at least the prevailing wage which is definitely more than what they're offering to the local populace.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

And all of that is why I wrote that I can't see it happening for a day care job.

True. I caught covid so my brain isn't working all that well right now.

Oh no!!!   Hope it's just a mild case.  The kiwi and I have both had something this week (sore throat, headache, congestion), but so far all the rapid antigen tests are negative.

Its for a few members of the owners family, i have heard of so many people who have went down this route to get to the USA. Don’t know them personally but know of someone who moved to Florida through her uncle being a manager in a hotel.. they asked me as they knew I went through immigration process (through my marriage).. multiple jobs. Including a director (the family members are from UK) they’ve had adds up since the end of covid. They’ve increased the pay. At one point they had multiple interviews and hired people and they didn’t show up - as everyone is still using unemployment. Going for interviews to show they are trying to find work but then saying they didn’t get the job!!
