CR-1 and L1-B concurrent filing?

Hello- my husband and I are currently applying for the CR1 visa, we submitted our application in March 2022 so there hasn’t been much progress yet.I live in Hong Kong and he is a US citizen.

Recently, the company I work for, which is a multinational company, has offered to relocate me to their US office under a L1-B visa.

Is it possible for me to apply for both visas without any issues/conflicts?

Thank you.

No conflict between the two visas. The “dual intent” of the L-1B means it will not affect you spousal immigrant visa.
Great news, you will definitely come in way before the I-130 travels it’s journey..

The L1-A and L1-B visas are nonimmigrant visas (meaning that the foreign national must have an intent to return to his or her country of citizenship); however, obtaining an L1-A or L1-B visa is also permissible for foreign nationals who have dual intent to work in the U.S. temporarily and eventually secure lawful permanent resident status

Hello, I mentioned in a previous post that  my husband and I are currently applying for the CR1 visa, we submitted our application in March 2022. I live in Hong Kong and he is a US citizen. My company has offered to recently offered relocate me to their US office under a L1-B visa. I've already checked and it looks like there is no issue filing both CrR-1 and L1-B at the same time.

Assuming that I go to the US on a L1-B visa, when the time comes for my CR-1 embassy interview, would there be any issues for me to go back to Hong Kong, do the interview and then go back to the US shortly after? Or would I have to stay behind in Hong Kong so that I don't show that I'm intending to immigrate at that time?

Thank you!

No problem in existing US... Once you interview and got the visa, you are coming back in as Immigrant.  Embassy will have your passport to attach visa, so you will have to wait for it to fly back in.

You would probably want to stay and wait for the CR1 visa to be issued and use that to return to the US.  But if you really must return before your CR1 is issued, there will be no problem using your L1B visa again.  As mentioned in your other thread, L1 is dual-intent so having immigrant intent is fine.
