So we file our i130 in may and USCIS currently is reviewing it as of June 17,2022. I know we got a long time to go .

but my question is when you go to the interview can someone bring a photo album  to the interview and would it fit under that narrow opening at the window when they ask for pictures ?

anyone has a album they brought they can suggest ?

you can bring the album just to show to them

but you also need to print a couple of 4 x 6 and glued it on white letter size paper with brief explanation, year and ocassion.

they wont take album, but they can take the photo in the paper as additional evidence

I thought of just bringing the ones I sent USCIS. All pics were in a word doc , each section label with all my 6 trips.

since I got it save already  I just need to re- print it and I can just add to it .

They will already have those. If you have fresh new pictures that you took together to show that you have seen each other after filing the petition, that would be of value.

So can I bring the old ones and label it like before the filing

then

Second one after the filing

And if they ask for pics

can we say here are the pics before we file i130

And  here is after ?

You can but the ones after filing hold more  value. You need to keep it succinct and to the point because they won’t have time to sit and look at so many pictures. It’s quality over quantity. They might overlook the valuable stuff if you have such a large volume of old/new photos. Choice is yours of course

Those photos are already in your file.  If you have updated/additional ones to show, just print them on plain paper up to 9 per page and hand them through the slot.  Keep any "album" for your personal use.

I suggest that you save a few new photos from trips or visits in-person since filing the I-130, in a Word document with dates and brief captions under each one, together with other evidence accumulated since the I-130 was filed, save it as a compressed PDF, and upload it as an "additional document" at the NVC stage, after the I-130 petition is approved.  That way the new evidence and photos will be in their system before the visa interview, which is important because some officers do not consider evidence that you bring to the interview, and they make a preliminary decision on your case before the interview.  Good luck!

During nvc stage is there a time frame to load all docs ?

Hi! I don't have an album, but printed multiple photos and put them in an envelope with all of the paperwork in a binder. I have not seen him since February and sadly we don't have new photos. I started a fairly new job and we are saving money to buy a house, so I have been waiting for the interview to travel there (it's expensive in the summer). Will this be an issue?? Reading these comments is making me a little nervous. Any input would be appreciated!

So bring the envelope with the printed photos.  Easy peasy.
