***UPDATE***

Ok so we have gone letterboxing 3 out of the last 4 weekends. We are loving it!!! It has gotten us out in our community to parks and areas that we have never even heard of before - right in our own backyards practically! Some of them involve some hiking so that has been great...nothing like getting more active. It truly is a bonding experience as my hubby and younger sibs are getting along great whereas before there really wasn't any common ground. It just makes me so happy to see everyone smiling, laughing and coming up with all these crazy ideas to solve the clues. I highly recommend to everyone that they try letterboxing (or geocashing)!

It has been one of the best things our family has done together in a long time...and it's relatively cost free
