Hello everyone,

We have an update! We just got our I-130 approved on August 3rd, 2023!! We are still waiting for the approval letter to come in the mail though. Does anyone know when we should expect to receive the NVC welcome letter?

Update: We woke up to a welcome email from the NVC this morning (August 7th, 2023)!! They included our NVC case number and Invoice ID number in the email. I'm assuming that the welcome letter will also come by mail at some point during this process?

Morning! I received my approval on July 13th but still haven't received the welcome email from NVC. Do they send it to the beneficiary or the US citizen by email or mail? Thanks in advance!

They send a email to both the beneficiary and petitioner.  We received an approval on 7/7/23, was sent to NVC 7/13/23 and we received our welcome email on 8/7/23, paid the fees 8/7/23 and received an email 8/8/23 to upload documents.  I'm not sure if my attorney contacting them a week ago helped speed up the process.  Here are some helpful links that may help speed up the process for the welcome letter as well as which date NVC is currently working on.  Hope this helps.

I guess an RFE at least means they have looked at it!
