Hello,

Quick recap, I petitioned for my spouse in Accra, Ghana and received a priority date of 12/26/2019. Case at USCIS was approved around 11/2021 after I reached out to my state senator to help with how long my case took to move forward. NVC Dq'ed my docs/case on 02/2022 and my wife is currently waiting for an interview at the US embassy in Accra. Does any one know how long more my wife and I need to wait for an interview to be scheduled? Unfortunately, my spouse lost her mom suddenly late last year, a few days after Christmas to be more precise and this continues to be traumatic for us, especially my wife as she's living alone. Will the situation help expedite our case at the NVC? Thanks.

Ghana is at 22 months wait after DQ. October 2020 they are still at.You still have quite a wait sorry.

Unfortunately no that's not a reason Ghana will expedite. I don't even know if they are even accepting any expedite request.
