During the interview,if we arrive at the Montreal Consulate ten minutes earlier, will there be many people already queuing there in advance? Still not many people, no one in line

do we need to get in line an hour early,Hope to get your advice, thank you

Facts have proved that there are very few people interviewing at the MTL consulate. We arrived an hour early, and the security guard at the gate made us wait at the gate for five minutes, and then let us in early.

The MTL Consulate has a lot of small lockers, about the size of a palm, and there are plenty of them. You can rest assured to bring your mobile phone there.

Unfortunately, it seems like you've joined the DS-5535 club for Montreal -- https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/786919-the-dreaded-ds-5535-thread-for-montreal-post-here-and-support-each-other-part-2/

I donot have the vaccine booklet from my country. What should I do in case I need all these vaccines?

For adult applicants up to 59 years old, only the following vaccinations are required -- Td/Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Flu (seasonal), COVID.  Details here -- https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/vaccinations.html#tbl1

If you've had chickenpox before, the clinic may take your word for it and not require Varicella vaccine.  Single dose of COVID vaccine (bivalent) or full series of monovalent vaccines will be required prior to the medical, but boosters not required for immigration purposes.

If you say you've had chickenpox, they'll want you to get an expensive shingles shot.

That is news…it’s not in the list so would it still be mandatory or recommended

I don’t know, they said it’s a new regulation, children are required to be vaccinated against HPV, these vaccines are 240/190 dollars, very expensive

On average, one person spent more than 700  dollars

In addition, when submitting the documents,They just asked for the original documents submitted when submitting DS260. They received the original and did not ask me for a copy, because they had already printed it out and put it in my file, which is better than the copy I printed myself. It's good because it's all in color, and I printed it in black and white. Nevertheless, I still recommend that you prepare all the civil documents as much as possible, just in case you are not afraid to prepare more, just in case you cannot provide them when you need them. Although it can be added after the fact, it will be delayed for several weeks

When are interview letters normally sent? Is it just towards the end of the month or are some also sent at the beginning of the month or other sporadic times?
