Montreal embassy EB-2 interview wait time-Part 2

So this is how we are preparing for a possible Dec/Jan appointment in Montreal (based on valuable insights from this forum, thank you all!):

1. Getting RCMP clearance certificates

2. renewing passports (expiring within 3 to 6 months)

3. Arranging police certificates from other countries

4. getting vaccinations done (Dr. Lyndon Mascarenhas suggests we go to a travel clinic instead of the Titer Test but I'm wary of getting so many shots that I already had as a kid but don't have proof of!)

Any other suggestions?

I made a radical career change after being approved (was laid off so bought a small business). Will it make a difference at the interview?

Thanks to everyone for the interview timeline modelling, useful insights and general overall support. I hope we can move quickly with all this.

RCMP clearance is valid for how long? Does anyone know by any chance?

According to the website, PCCs are valid for two years (it was one year previously). To be on the safer side, it's better to get a new RCMP clearance certificate after a year of having gotten one. @immishok mentioned this on this thread as well.

Thank you !

I have a question  to the group.

I am an Indian citizen my EB2 DQ date is Mar-16-2021 for Montreal consulate, at the same time I am also waiting for my Canadian citizenship . Question is what is the implication of my citizenship status change while waiting for my Interview date for AOS ?

Appreciate your thoughts and guidance.

is it possible to change the address on the interview date?

I have submitted a request for the NVC to change my address.  USCIS unfortunately is not the same and I don't think changing/updating it at the interview will trigger a change with them.
