Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I've been DQ'd 35 days ago and waiting for an IL from MTL so wanted to see when I should be able to receive it.

I know that nobody has a crystal ball but just a rough idea would be great since I'm getting a generic response from NVC and MTL consulate everytime I contacted them LOL

Category: EB2-NIW

In my rough estimate, you will have to wait between 1 to 2 years...

My DQ'd is June 10 2021 (EB2-NIW) and we are still waiting for an IL. Last time I checked the tracking sheet, one person with EB2 who DQ'ed in April 2021 got their interview date for end of March 2023.

Also, EB2 got just retrogressed so it might take even longer...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

To whomever owns the tracking spread sheet, can you go in again and restore it to a previous version, and maybe lock the editing privilege? It's all screwed up again.......

Ya, the owner just restricted the access to the file. I requested the access. Hopefully, this will restore everything.

@Coco_2023 I'd say the absolutely soonest you will get an IL will be after the start of the new fiscal year which is in October, more than likely early 2024 if you just got DQ'ed. Luckily, you won't have to wait 2+ years like some of the folks on the forum have.

Thanks so much @alc

I was wondering why would you think that I won't have to wait that long, just so I can sleep better (which is great)?

The line you are standing in is shorter than it was a year ago, so you will get into the store faster

We had our interview in Montreal today for EB-1.  It was approved and CEAC is showing "Issued."  They asked very few questions, most of the time was spent providing original documents and finger prints.  Our questions were what I intended to do for work/was I going to just find a job once I approved, if either of us had previously been married, had either of us ever lived outside of Canada and where we planned on living once we arrived in the US.  There were no issues updating our address or passport.  We were in and out in under an hour.

You can see the DQ here if you ask for the access.

I really hope that you will not have to wait too long like most of us. This experience has been soul crushing...

@DrJh07 Fantastic!

Would you mind telling me what the columns D1-I1 represent, I mean "VJ Profile" columns?
