Wow FB applicants are moving really fast. Did they really jump 13 months in 1 month?

No idea whats happening. May be health Care workers for EB dqd on that time frame or later got IL. This is just not fair just prioritizing health care workers over others. It is  so crazy. Since you are dqd in OCT 2020 and given the status provided, you could try emailimg and checking with NVC one

I suppose cynically - if you were the consular general at MTL, you can say to your boss "I have cleared the entire backlog of IR and FB in less than a year", much better than moving all the catagories at the same time, having everyone pissed at you and nothing to show for.

I did again today, but it will take a month to get reply back and it’s just a template response.
anyone has any ideas how to contact nvc other than email?

Send them an actual typewritten letter at their physical mailing address. Fax them the same letter.

Address it to the Consul General. I read about this at another forum where they were discussing AP.

Worse case: no response.

Best case: your file gets attention.

Good luck.

Yes, and then the Boss says, why don't you pause everyone else and clear out the whining EBs too...?

Hey, no taxes on dreams, right?

This could develop into a new Netflix series. Not sure comedy or thriller...

It's frustrating that EBs moved just one month. but it could also be a good sign that FB backlog has basically been cleared. We should expect big jumps in the EB category in the next months.
