Congratulations !!!    Could you please let us know your timeline?

Agree with this - but please do also fill in your own timeline as well!

We all need to ‘pay it forward’ and complete our timelines to help all of the other EB applicants that follow behind us. The more data we have, the most useful VJ becomes.

Thanks.

I meant your VJ timeline. https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=472968

The sheet is fine, but nowhere near as useful as the VJ profile timeline which has more info and can then be used by everybody else too, not just participants in this thread.

Oh, and I’m not a ‘Sir’. 😂

I was ensuring I paid all necessary fees and saw something about a biometrics appointment fee. Is this something we are supposed to do? I don't recall anything about a biometrics appointment.

@mgsctravels Do we need to pay any fees aside the medical fees before the interview?

I don't think we pay for biometrics since we will be giving our biometrics at the embassy. I believe its individuals who re adjusting status within the US that need to do that.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone here traveled to Cuba before? Last year, after submitting my DS-260, I visited Cuba with my family for five days, not realizing it’s not considered an ally of the U.S. Could anyone share their interview experience and whether this raised any concerns during the process?

@monk_yatso I haven't had my interview yet so I can't say on that front, but I've been to Cuba couple of times when I was younger. It's one of the main destinations for Quebecois as it's super close and cheap. As it's one of the main "all inclusive" destinations and so many people go and it's so common, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

As Cuba was put back on the ‘state sponsored terrorism’ list yesterday it may delay things whilst additional checks are done, just as it would if you’d visited any other country on that list (Iran, Syria etc). But it shouldn’t cause bigger issues.

Good luck.

But cuba was in the list since 2021. It’s just got renewed yesterday

It had been taken off by Biden, Trump revoked that yesterday - https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/initial-rescissions-of-harmful-executive-orders-and-actions/
