Good point. The point is some folks will get AP'd almost for sure. How long it takes is a matter of wait and see. I just wanted the original poster to know that they will most probably have to consider few more months of wait... hopefully short...

Thank you for letting me know. Do all Iranian nationals get AP'd?

It looks like the IR (family) groups received their ILs today. So fingers crossed we hear something soon. I'm DQ Jan 8 so hoping to be in this next batch.

Let’s pray for it 🙂

Check your status. Still NVC
mine too. So i’m not sure whether they’re gonna issue IL this month

may i know where did you see their IL? Can you share the link here? Historically EB ILs are issued around 1-2 days after issuing IR ILs

So before we receive IL, does the status changes from NVC to something different ?

Ideally yes. It should show the case is in “MTL” now. But sometimes they don’t update, rather send ILs directly.

I got my IL from NVC first, then another email from Montreal days later when they also changed the status on CEAC.

It doesn't usually change until after you receive the IL - it may show as 'in transit' before it says it's at the consulate too. My IL came before my status changed (not Montreal though, although also EB).
