Congratulations to all who got their interview letters today. @AnnaSaluand @monk_yatso did you get yours too?

My PD isn’t current (March-30-2023). Expecting to be current by next visa bulletin. So ideally somewhere in december i might get IL if they issue any before xmas

The December bulletin is already released, no movement on it for EB2. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2025/visa-bulletin-for-december-2024.html

Sorry, but you won't be able to get an IL in December, hopefully it'll move in January though. 🤞

Congratulations! Did your wife end up getting the vaccines or did she do the titre test? Also did she get the Covid vaccine as well? I am pregnant too so just wondering.

Yes she did a titre test,

they also said they could waive the live vaccines (MMR and Varicella) but we didn't need to do that since she had immunity for them.

But she had to take the flu and covid shots.

My IL didn't say anything about registering my appointment on the MTL website. Is there another email we're supposed to get before we do so?

you can check here => https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/MTL - Montreal-6-13-2023.pdf => https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html#med_exam_instructions

On the Montreal registration website, is it:

I have received a Consular interview appointment date from the National Visa Center (NVC) or the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) and I have been instructed to register my appointment on this site.

OR

I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to schedule an immigrant visa appointment.

They both sound the same to me.

I selected the first one (NVC) because the IL email came from NVC.

I just got my IL.

EB-3

DQ Date: Oct 26, 2023

Interview Date: January 17, 2025

I have some questions about the medical exams.

The following are the requirements provided by one of the consulate-approved doctors near my home for visa applicants:

1 - Valid Passport

2 - Interview Appointment Letter from Consulate

3 - DS-260 Form (Visa and Alien Registration Application ) if available

4 - 4 passport size photos (may be required)

5 - Immunization Records (see US vaccine requirements)

6 - List of Medications, Surgeries, and Medical Conditions (your family doctor can provide this)

7 - Prescription Eyeglasses (if required)

My Questions: Regarding No. 6 (List of Medications, Surgeries, and Medical Conditions):

---I don’t have a family doctor. How should I obtain this list?

---Is it an official document that must be provided by a family doctor?

After a very long process, I am happy to share that my interview yesterday went smoothly and my GC was approved.

The staff are friendly and professional. I strongly advise that your documentation to be well organized. There was a family struggling while presenting their documents because they were completely disorganized. Invest in a document management case with dividers from a dollar store. Also, ensure you have copies of all your documents.

I was the first appointment @ 7:30am and I was approved by 8:10am. This is fitting...having one of the longest wait times for an interview...experiencing one of the shortest interview processes.
