We had our application approved yesterday (really old PD -2011 EB2 IND & DQ Aug 2023).

Nothing out of the line than other interview experiences in this forum (be there on time->documentation -> fingerprinting -> interview).

Highly recommend to go organized with your documentation.

This group had been really helpful and i wish everyone the very best.

Congrats on your approval. What do they generally ask during interview?

Hey everyone, this is specifically for the folks that had their interviews throughout September and possibly late August (in EB categories).

I need some clarification on where I stand with this.

I was approved on the spot but then about 4 days later emailed a 221g with an explanation in bold letters indicating that they need to wait until October 1st to process.

No other documents or info was requested and my passport is still at the consulate.

Did anyone else get the same runaround and get issued out of this September batch?

I'm trying to figure out how much weight that 221g carries with it given its (stated) reasoning.

Thanks.

@AndrewsN did you get any update? I am in the same boat

Hey there,

I’ve had several case updates but status is still on refused. Last case update was Oct 22 for me. Based on the many pages I’ve read, I’m likely in AP after all.

They still have my passport. And to this day, no additional info or documentation has been requested.

It’s hard to judge anything at this point, but I suppose the decently regular case updates is a positive sign- nevertheless not a guarantee.

We had our interview yesterday in Montreal. IL came on September 30. We were approved at the end

We did our Medicals with Dr. Zatzman and he was great.

Interviewing officer was very nice. Our appt time was 7:30am which was the first for the day so we were in and out in about an hour and a half. Most of that time was just signing in and waiting around. Actual interview was about 10 minutes

Any questions just ask! Still waiting for our case status to change to Issued.
