Looking through the statistics. Montreal historically have been doing about 400 total visas per month. In March they did 600. In April they did 800. 

 

Someone who had their interview said that they mentioned hiring more staff during their interview. 

 

As they have doubled their output of visas per month, it only makes sense more staff have been hired to see this vast increase.

And after doubling their output for a month - nothing for next 3 months... atleast for employment category.

The July invites for August dates are likely to go out in the first week of July. So hopefully next week we see some movement.

Cr1/ir1 got their interview letters today for August.... I presume as its so quiet employment are skipped for another month......

Not a troll. I'm on some facebook groups too and each of them had a CR1/IR1 get their IL today. One was DQ March 5 and the other March 6

Are ILs only sent on one day?

or could they send tomorrow?

It seems to be done per batch, per visa type. But I don't know really. I wouldn't get my hopes high
I don't know how long EB2 are. I don't usually follow this thread as I'm IR1 but I thought I'd check to see if EB2 got letters today lol.

Hello, In am Canadian resident and had submitted Indian Police clearance certificate more than 2 years ago to NVC and was DQ in 2022.  If I get an IL would I be expected to get a new police clearance certificate from India even though I do not live in India  (visited India for vacation totaling less than 60 days since the last submission).

 

Anyone faced this situation? Would be helpful to know as getting the India PCC from Canada is a pain and also needs submission of the passports.

"If you previously submitted a police certificate to NVC, it is more than one (1) year old, and you still live in that country, you must obtain and bring a more recent police certificate to your visa interview as the one you previously submitted will have expired. "

You would need a new one as you have returned to the country since the previous police report was issued.
