Thanks @AndrewsN

I'm extremely anxious but positive that I will be next to receive IL. Will let this forum know immediately when it happens.

Fingers crossed...

The feeling is mutual...I am Jan 2023. Right there with ya haha.

July visa bulletin shows big retrogression….Dec 1, 2021

Yeah often when there is a big retrogression coming, montreal have been known to stop giving out invitations so that they don't invite someone then have to cancel it. I'm sure this is another reason for no interview letters.

What category are you looking at when you say Dec 1, 2021?

Looks like they were referring to EB3

Unfortunately, I’ve sort of stopped believing that priority of EB categories has any play.

EB 2 actually moved forward by two months. Seems like there have been a lot of EB3 given out and the quota is close to being met.

So in that case, would that mean that MTL would still schedule EB 1 and EB 2 categories for interviews?

For now. But as it gets closer to the end of the visa year (September 30th), there is also a higher chance eb1 and 2 also retrogress. This is what happened last year.

4th and Other workers, my category, jumped 4 months. I’ve been waiting over 3 years.

Montreal web page is updated today (June 12th), but the EB category still shows Jan 2023 for DQ.

They won't update the paragraph twice in one month. They were probably changing another part of the website as the page is for immigrant and non immigrant for every embassy in Canada. The paragraph is still June 6th - the date on that paragraph is the only thing that matters. Not the website update date.
