I presume they are referring to the spreadsheet where we all put in our DQ dates etc. copied above

I got the standard 60 day notice email last night. We were very excited only to be disappointed once again.

I have been getting the 60 day emails but havent got anything last night. Mine have always been on the first of the month.  So may be June 1 i'll end up getting the email

Someone messed up the google sheets doc again...all usernames are exchanged with the wrong dates...

We can revert it back to an old version where the dates are correct again. There's always the chance we lose someone's new input. But better to have them input it twice than lose all the historic data. Dandelion did it earlier this week I believe. I can look at it on my laptop tomorrow if someone doesn't restore an old version before then.

I am not seeing the update regarding the EB Visa Processing from Montreal Office anymore. Until a couple of months ago, there used be a monthly update from Montreal Consular office which would mention what Immigrant Visa cases they are currently interviewing.

I remember going to this page: Consular Operations - U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Canada (usembassy.gov)

There was usually an update like "Montreal Office is currently interviewing Employment based applicants Documentarily Qualified in June 2022" . I am not seeing that anymore. Have they stopped doing it? Or do they update this info some where else?

Montreal was updating every month. But they progressed and there was a lot of people skipped by accident. They were getting contacted by too many people complaining they had been skipped. I believe they have temporarily taken it down, while they are dealing with that issue and are giving interviews to those who were skipped. I think it will come back on the same website. last update was Jan 2023 and there have been no further invites sent out for EB.

They sent out a batch of IL on April 16th, which included a couple of EBs like my case.

Is this a theory or is this legit?

Filed: EB-2 Visa Country: Canada
Timeline

I noticed that previously, interview letter go out shortly after the latest visa bulletins are issued. If they send out EB interview letters this month, it might follow the same pattern.

Not sure if this has been shared already but good to see 121 green cards being issued under the Employment category at Montreal in April. It was 87 in March.

Lack of transparency and consistency from Montreal consulate isn't great but they seem to be working towards clearing that backlog.

They cleared 879 total visas. Previously it had been around 400, and they had increased it to 600 in march. That is a huge increase in capacity. Very good news. Now if they can just send out some more interview letters, that would be really nice

Hopefully this is isn't a spike of total visas...that leads to a pause for months. Was this the same trend from 2023 when they paused EB interviews for 6 months?
