Updated my historical analysis charts. A huge uptick in the rest of the world (Rio, Bogota and Seoul leading).

Thanks for sharing. Montreal is still issuing EB2 visas so I have a couple of questions that come to mind.

1. Are these visas related to interviews that were conducted based on the May 2023 interview letters? Maybe delayed due to administrative processing?

2. If not, were there maybe other interview letters sent after May 2023 but to a limited number of people that are not part of the visa journey community?

Apparently, no IL has been sent to anybody since last May. I have been DQ since June 2021 and my priority date is current (2020 for EB2), but no response to my follow-ups nor IL yet.

It doesn't make sense that they didn't issue any IL since last May (over six months) knowing that they issue EB visas every month and the time between IL and visa issuance is about 2-3 months.

I tend to say the latter. It is odd to imagine they have stopped all ILs for this category since May. I don't think everyone who applies needs to be necessarily a member of VJ. That being said, it is also strange that NO one on VJ has received ILs since May. Not even 1 applicant? Perhaps they didn't bother to update the sheet or this thread?

This is odd. The dates are back again to April 2022 (as of Nov 3rd 2023), but your DQ dates is June 2021 and you have not received the IL.

Yes, that is really odd and frustrating. I am the only guy in the spreadsheet who is DQ in June 2021 with current priority date (April 2020) but was not invited for an interview yet.

This is not a legal advice but : one thing you could try is to make an expedite request, which sometimes gets forwarded to the embassy/consulate. Mention how the timeline in their own website indicates that they are well past your DQ date, but you haven't been invited yet. Mention that this completely violates their own 'first-dq'ed ---> first-invited' stated policy. and add to that any document you have regarding job/opportunity loss.

Hello all. For what it's worth, I was able to transfer my case successfully to the London UK Embassy at the end of August and received an interview letter at the start of Oct for an interview on the 3rd of Nov. It was approved! Hurray!

if you have citizenship/residency in another country, I highly recommend transferring. It's really worth it.

Best of luck to all.

If your partner (not the primary applicatant) has citizenship in another country, can you change embassies?
