Was anybody asked to submit ds 260 application after interview? For employment based case, how do you resubmit ? Status for IV application in CEAC website is marked as Complete

Do you know why they asked you to re submit it?

Duriny interview my husband was told he might have to update DS 260 form but IO did not provide any direction or anything so just wondering. May be we will receive an update in email of he needs to update ds 260.

Not sure what update might be needed in Ds 260 as there is no section to update my employment  (petitioner's) info.

Question on medical— once we get the immunity test/ vaccinations done, what proof do we have to carry while going for the medical. Do family doctors provide a letter?

If you do a titres test, the test result.  If you have a vaccine record/card, take that, too and any receipts for new vaccines you got.  If your family doctor has everything neatly packaged as a printout, take that.  Basically, anything that shows you have the list of CDC required vaccines is acceptable.

I had our old school vaccine cards from the health nurse that had hand scribbled dates and that was perfectly acceptable.  My medical was in March when the flu vaccine was required, so I had the print out from the pharmacy saying I got it.

My guess is IO could have updated the DS 260 during the interview time with the new petitioner info( atleast that's what I heard that any changes to DS260 can be done at the time of the interview) if needed. But if they are looking for any supporting documentation to do so, maybe you need to send them those once asked for it or you might want to email montreal consulate asking about the next steps. Maybe someone can direct you to the correct email details.

HI Friends :

For employment based cases . Is there a need to submit I-864, Affidavit of Support ?

If - Yes who signs this form ? Is it the employer?

Thank you.

Employment based cases does not need to submit I-864( AOS). All you need is recent employment letter from US employer( petitioner) at the time of interview.

Yes, that was my understanding too. For our case ( follow to join) I am the petitioner for my husband and not my employer. Also, DS 260 does not have any place to update my employer related details.

Plan to wait for atleast 2 weeks before sending email.

@ACC24Thanks for your response and congratulations on your visa approval!!

Hello everyone, I saw that the interview letter required a Covid-19 vaccine, so I went to take the first dose yesterday, but the second dose may not be given until after the interview, so can I go for the physical examination? Will I not be allowed to interview? I am very worried now. Can anyone who has the same experience as me share with me how you solved this problem, thank you

We finished our EB2 interview today morning and were told "APPROVED" by the CO after the interview. By 4pm, CEAC status is updated to "ISSUED" and next is passport waiting time :)

Regarding the interview, it was very smooth and quick. We went inside around 8.40am and were out by 9.40am. The lady who checked our documents was very nice and Consular officer was even more nicer, smiling and gave us a very positive vibe right from the beginning. They never asked for any single extra document other than what is mentioned in the website and questions were very simple ones that are already consolidated by many VJ members in the spreadsheet( Ex., What is your current role? Did you travel outside the country apart from US/ Canada? What is your highest education for both myself and wife? )

Happy to answer any questions anytime.

Congratulations ACC24! Do you mind sharing what documents you carried for the interview - especially the originals?
