Hello everyone,

I know I am just impatient with this whole process, but how long do you think I have to wait till I hear something from the NVC, I just got approved for the I-130 recently July 10, 2007. I live here in the USA and my husband lives in Canada. We have been apart for three years....So, I am anxiously awaiting to see what the next step is....when do you think I should call them, probably next month huh? It seems like they are a bit behind according to the NVC timeline in Missouri....well, in the meantime is their anything else I could be doing or is it just waiting..... :crying::wacko::whistle::blush:

Been apart since March 8, 2004, hubbie went to Canada, Toronto

I-130 approved in July 10, 2007

Have you called the NVC?? There number is (603) 334-0700. call them and find out. I think you should give them atleast one more week before you start to worry. It's early now since they just approved your petition last week. ###### luck, regards kim

Congratulations on the approval. You have to wait, dear. It's only been week since your petition was approved. It takes about 2-3 weeks before NVC will assign a case number for you. Please read the NVC forum for NVC shortcut for time savings. Just hang on there.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:
