04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

i think i've decided on saturday i'll make some sort of salmon dish. he loves fish and i don't know how often they're able to eat salmon in morocco. :blink:

for friday night maybe i'll have some of his favorite snacks and drinks around...and sandwich making ingredients so i can throw together something for him. maybe i'll make a sandwich and bring it to the airport for the car?!

i was also thinking of making some cheesy sign and bringing it to the airport and holding it up. can't think of what to write though. maybe just "welcome home abdelilah!!!!!!" *shrug* hehe

I couldn't wait to take him to Mexican food. As far as buying all the stuff before hand, well he was very excitd to shop and pick out all of his stuff. He loves going grocery shopping, the first thing is to know where a middle estern store is so that you can get spices and things that he may need. The tahina sauce is what he wanted the most. I know everyone is different and Arabic bread and lots of vegtables.

He really wasn't that tired when he came and we have been on the go for the last 3 weeks since his arrival.

The pink bag, yeah, that is a must!

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

My husband really seemed to enjoy buffets when first arriving. We would go to one nearly everyday. I also planned a special evening for us, Benihanas. But he did not arrive that night.

I made Salmon, rice and potatoes( like how his family makes it)

BUT..

he was sooo Tired he didnt eat any of it :(

I bought a few things for him that he likes - He loves American Style HoHo's :P

and Lindt chocolates :yes:

other than that I waited til he can see whats in the stores..

I am curious about how you made the salmon, rice and potatoes. What were the ingredients and instructions. My husband is from egypt although hes been here for 2 yrs (today) Ive never made him an egyptian dish on my own.

Also can someone tell me what is Molokhiya (i hope i spelled that correctly)
