I think this their second trial of the new system.  Wow!!!  2 weeks would be amazing!!!!

I was shocked that it took only 2 weeks, when I applied the said the norm was 16-18 weeks. And I didn't expedite because I was only renewing and didn't need it to travel until May of 2022.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Do you have to mail anything like your old passport to be punched?

No.  I didn't have to mail anything.  They just immediately invalidated the old passport.  They closed the online option for August a few days after I applied, but they say they are going to ask for more volunteers this month.  As I said, I received my new passport 23 days after submitting the online application.  I paid for expedited processing and 1-2 day Express shipping (which they did).
