WHEN WE SUGGEST DNA TESTING WE GAVE A LIST OF PANEL PHYSICIANS BASED IN DAKAR WHO COULD COLLECT HER SAMPLES.

PANEL PHYSICIANS ARE SELECTED AT RESPECTIVE POSTS BECAUSE OF THEIR QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCE AND INTEGRITY IN IMPLEMENTING

DNA TESTING FOR IMMIGRATION PURPOSES. SINCE SIERRA LEONE DOES NOT HAVE PANEL PHYSICIANS SELECTED BY THE US EMBASSY

THERE WE CANNOT ACCEPT DNA TESTS FROM THERE.

PLEASE FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS ON DNA COLLECTION.

I was told by lab representatives that yes, they do have panel physicians at the embassy in Sierra Leone. They just don't process

K1 visas there.

And yes of course Monrovia, Liberia has panel physicians there also. But nooooooooo, they have to make it extremely difficult to get to Dakar.

WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU CANNOT REMOVE THE APPLICANT FROM THE PETITION SINCE WE STARTED THE PROCEDURE.

AGAIN IF YOUR FIANCE DECIDES NOT TO HAVE DNA TESTING CONDUCTED, WE WILL NEED TO CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION TO CONFIRM FAMILY RELATIONSHIP.

GIVEN OUR LIMITED RESOURCES THIS TYPE OF INVESTIGATION TAKES A YEAR OR MORE TO COMPLETE.

The congressional inquiry was a waste of time. The very capable senator's aide did a very good job but the embassy refused

to answer our questions and concerns.

They only received a very generic , vague email.

Next step is getting ready for DNA testing when the election violence has calmed down, hopefully in late September.

I will order the stupid DNA kit here and then we will jump through a lot more hoops.

I informed the embassy that an appointment will be made with the panel physician.
