Hello everyone, 

 

My mom arrived to the US 2 months ago, I paid the fee to get the Green Card for her but after all this time we have not gotten any notice or notification. Is there a step I missed ? Have others here gotten something in the mail before getting the Green Card ? How long take to family member after they arrive to get their Green Card ? 

 

Hope you can help me with this questions.

Weeks to months to a year .. no rhyme or reason. The stamped visa is the temporary green card for 12 months. You can check on the USCIS case status site using the IOE case number
