Just got this message this morning from an email inquiry I requested on September 30th. This was a response from

TSGSystem@tsg.state.gov

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition.

It can take up to six weeks for an approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to arrive at the National Visa Center (NVC). Once we receive it, we will enter your petition into the U.S. Department of State's database systems.

For current processing times, please visit our website at https://nvc.state.gov/timeframes for English andhttps://nvc.state.gov/plazos for Spanish. If your approved petition was sent to NVC later than the listed processing times, you do not need to take any action.

If your petition was approved before the dates NVC is working on, please send us a scanned copy of your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.  You can attach it to an email and send it to nvcresearch@state.gov.

·           In the subject line of your email, please type only the receipt number from your I-797 Approval Notice.

·           If you have more than one petition, send a separate email for each petition

·           Once we receive the copy of your approval notice, we will contact USCIS to find your petition.

Before you send us an email, please check your Notice of Action and make sure it says your petition was approved and sent to NVC.  If it says that USCIS kept your petition, or if it is not an approval, contact USCIS for more information. You can contact them on their website at https://uscis.gov, or by telephone at 1-800-375-5283.

NVC research emailed me on October 3rd and said they DID have our petition. WHAT IS HAPPENING...

Try emailing NVCResearch again, or call USCIS to see when they shipped your petition out.  I also submitted an inquiry through the portal on 9/15/22 and TSGSystem barely replied on Friday stating that I will be notified once the case is forwarded to the Embassy.

A friend of mine said they send emails on Wednesdays too. There's still hope 🙏

NVC does ship cases every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I heard that K1 petitions are only sent on Tuesdays.  From the FB and WhatsApp groups I'm in, as well as VJ, it seems like they shipped very little cases today.  Hopefully, they do send some tomorrow, but I have very little hope.

Yeah just a few sadly.

Let's stay hopeful.

Hi All, I’m filling out my finances DS-160 and the only question I am concerned about is the vaccination record. She had the covid vac card but not older vaccines. Should I answer yes or no to this question?

”Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US laws?”

Also curious, i see the list of items needed for the appt and it has one for financial support. If my fiancé has a job, does I need to fill a f134 of financial support for her? It seems redundant but I could be wrong.
I see the medical exam also has the vaccines. A prior member mentioned biometrics but I don’t see that as a requirement on there. Are biometrics needed?

I decided to answer yes, my fiancee also only has record of the covid vaccine. Honestly, I feel that it doesn't really matter (whether its yes or no) as the day of the medical examination the physician will get them squared away in terms of vaccinations.

Just make sure the covid vaccine she has is approved by either the CDC or the WHO as they will not let them on the plane.

Does anyone know exactly what documents will be approved for the proof of income with the affidavit of support? Is it a tax return from our salary from last year? Or something we have to provide for this year?

Are you able to send me an invite to your WhatsApp group?
