3x the threshold is the minimum required. You have around 4x that doesn't mean you are absolutely qualified. COs or IOs look at the totality of circumstances.

 

For people going with income only, they could have 130% of the threshold but could still be asked to get a joint sponsor or if not get rejected.

I realize you were trying to help. I'm very appreciative of it. 

 

It looks like I'm just going to try with a joint. I just wanna proceed with this bearing in mind my i130 has already been approved. We are very close.
