Thanks! I'm sure you'll hear good news soon; as someone else said here, things definitely pick up as the clock ticks closer to 24 months. The interview notice still hasn't posted as far as I'm aware, but I'll update when we learn how far out it is. From the timelines, though, it seems roughly 4-6 weeks out.

Approved! 🥳 Interview ended up being waived and we quickly got / returned an RFE for another copy of the marriage certificate.

Happy news for us!  Finally got notice of interview!!!  No date that I can see so I guess we wait for letter!  Yahoo!  I think we are the last ones in the group.

So we had our interview on June 6 and still waiting for a decision.  It seems odd that they wait so long after interview (and waiting like 2 years for the interview).  One would think they had all their research done prior to interview and the interview was just a final check.  Our case status still says 'interview was scheduled'.  Hope they didn't forget about us!  lol

Wow!

If USCIS approves after your 2-year anniversary, then you should get the 10-year green card. This is rare

But if USCIS approves before your 2-year anniversary, then you will still get the 2-year green card and have to file I-751 remove condition.

Well, you were right.  Got approval notice today - one month before our 2 year anniversary!  I guess they want that extra money to renew the GC in 2 years!  But either way, we are happy we made it this far!  So happy to be joining everyone!  Hoping the GC doesn't take too long to arrive.  We have a cruise planned in early September and am hoping to avoid getting a visa to Canada.  Thanks everyone for hanging in there!

So happy for you two!

I remember you from the K1 forums.

Enjoy these 1.75 years before going through the next process 😂

See you at the I-751 Removing Conditions forum 😂
