Does anyone have any recent experience of N400 interview at the Orlando Field Office. How long after is the Oath ceremony being scheduled ? Can we have guests ? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences

Update : passed interview and oath scheduled for same morning. I am now a US Citizen!

Congratulations! Hope you celebrate with your family and friends and even if the oath ceremony was not a lot of pomp and fireworks…it was a great day for your Journey. Thank you for posting.

They were pleasant and polite but brisk and official (as I expected) and I felt nervous. There was no 'small talk' and when I commented after 'I am glad I dressed up' she didn't crack a smile or comment. The civics test came as part of the general questions from my application there was no warning of and now we will begin the test .I found it hard to hear through the perspex and both of our masks and I am a native english speaker. At this point I am just glad to leave all the immigration official interaction behind so it is what it is . The ceremony happened 2.5 hours after my early interview. Masks worn throughout , social distancing with the seating and no guests permitted. Fist bumping was encouraged after. It was a brief congrats we all recited the oath together . They explained no music and no TV address from president due to Covid restrictions (didn't really understand this). It was strange considering nowhere else in Florida has maintained this level of covid precautions (bar maybe medical buildings). Tried to take each others photos outside the ceremony hall but were not allowed and we we directed to the outside of the building where the building sign id . Shame I would have liked a photo infront of my new flag but again it is what it is and at this point  I  am just relieved my personal immigration journey is over. My husband and one of my adult children are still waiting for their interview and my other adult child has theirs scheduled for next month . There seems to be no obvious reason why mine came through so quickly and theirs hasnt. I can only truly celebrate when the whole family has finished their journey, that includes one adult son abroad who maxed out on joining our GC status. His case is approved and currently at NVC awaiting current status.
