Based in London, got approved under EB1A immigrant visa. Now going through consular processing by NVC. I have paid the fees and submitted DS-260s. I now need to send scanned supporting documents by mail. Do I need to also include photographs? According to NVC website not so clear, mentions for immigrant visa bring 2 photos to the visa interview.

Things may have changed from a couple of months ago when I did mine (also EB1A) however photos were only requested for the interview (2x) and medical (2x).  In reality the medical did not need them, they took their own photos there, and the interview just needed one photo per person.  I did not need to send them.

I actually did not need to send the originals of the scanned copies, or take them to the interview - but it sounds like you have been asked for them!

Thank you for your response. It wasn't clear in the NVC Welcome letter, and I initially emailed the scanned documents but they came back and asked me to mail it to them. Current NVC processing time is approx 2.5months (I just submitted the Ds-260s and mailed the documents) - can you please advise how long it took for you UK embassy interview to come through? Any other tips/helpful advice you would provide? Much appreciate any insight you could share

hi, appreciate any insights of what to expect on the day of EB1A interview.

do they ask to see your existing employment details like a confirmation letter and payslips?

and given this is a self pEtitioned visa, do they ask to see if you have a job offer lined up on arrival? It’s a bit tricky given you don’t officially have a visa and most companies are hesitant to issue an offer until you have a visa, so what do they want to see for your future plans?
